The Dopes released their new Youtube music video on Friday 31st January 2025, called The Travel Agent. Sharing on their Facebook page, the video was filmed at local travel agents Henbury Travel on Chestergate in Macclesfield.
The Dopes are a dynamic hip-hop duo based in Macclesfield, known for their quirky and energetic live performances. Nick Connors and Marc Jackson describe themselves as ‘The kings of live hip hop, two men, fresh beats anything goes!’.
The down to earth duo have no ambitions to be internationally famous. Performing just for the fun of it, Nick and Marc have been amusing themselves and audiences across Macclesfield for over 10 years. Given the theme of the new track and location of filming, we’re still undecided as to whether they’re setting their sites on breaking into the UK top 40 or just angling for a discount off their next holiday!
