We’re pleased to announce the Macclesfield Post will be relaunching in 2025. We look forward to reporting on positive community news and up and coming local events for the year.
Over ten years ago our small team of volunteers created www.visitmacclesfield.co.uk to help raise the profile of our town and also engage maxonian’s to discover what’s on their own doorstep.
What started as a labour of love (run in our spare time), quickly grew in to a fantastic success with the website surpassing over 2 Million page views earlier in 2020, supporting all the great aspects of our town and local businesses.
We feel Macclesfield is marvellously unique and it’s the wonderful people that live and work in our town that make it such a welcoming and friendly place. After the success of Visit Macclesfield we decided to launch a new website, where we can feature more positive news happening in and around the town. This will include articles revolving around local businesses and community organisations plus feature on local and regional events, entertainment and grassroots community news.
We’re not a faceless corporation or part of any media group. The Macclesfield Post is run by ‘Macc Folk For Macc Folk’. We look forward to building a unique and exciting new media site which will reflect the wonderful nature of our town.
