Exciting plans for the construction of the £1.5 Million Tytherington Club Hotel are well on track. Ground works started in April to start on the development of a 65-bedroom hotel at the club based on the Tytherington estate in Macclesfield which are expected to complete for Spring 2020.
Initially work has been completed over the Summer with the creation of two additional car parking areas and now works are well underway to finish the main construction by the end of the year.
Macclesfield has struggled to keep up with an increase in demand for accommodation over the years with visitor numbers increasing with the Treacle Market, big festivals, restaurants, night life and a big increase in local tourism as Macclesfield is becoming more popular as a go to location and gateway to the Cheshire Plains and Peak District.
The new investment will also see refurbishment of the club facilities over the forthcoming months including:
• Golf, Health and Fitness and Poolside Changing Rooms
• Members bar and Conservatory
• Pulse Bar
• Function rooms
• Redevelopment of ground floor and first floor reception area
• General areas of the club to include corridors, stairwells and toilets
• Extension to the car park
